When is best time to have s*x so the girl will not get pregnant?

i have heard about the natural rhythm method where you can have safe s*x a few days before and after her period ... how does this work? how many days before and after can be considered safe?

Best time to have s*x is during her period and up to a week after.... best chance of getting her pregnant is starting the week before her period... the woman shouldn't be new to her period cause at a young age the time she ovulates might fluctuate

They say that the week before a woman's period is the less risky time to have s*x; because the woman's body is all ready to have her period and flush her system out.

BUT, there's always a risk.

If you use PROPER protection, you can have s*x whenever you want to and not worry about it.

I would not chance that for nothing. You can get pregnant at anytime. You know how some people claim you cannot get pregnant if you have s*x during your period well i did, we had s*x on the 3rd day of my period and i got pregnant but miscarried at 5 weeks.

Why not use spermicide? Or can she go and get on birth control?

My husband and i have been using the pull out method for almost 7 years now (since our son was born) and i can tell you that i have not gotten pregnant at all by using the pull out method but see when we had s*x on my period -the one time he did not pull out i got pregnant.

Some people may think this is a crazy form of birth control but i swear it works for us. I do not keep up with my ovulation dates or anything, just keep up with when my period starts and ends.

It tells you safe days to have s*x without getting pregnant but for some reason i just can't believe it.

She could use those vcf films -spermicide- all you do is insert it 15 minutes before you have s*x and it lasts for a few hours.

ADD: To the guy above me YES you can get pregnant while on your period BECAUSE i DID.

There are no "safe days". I can tell you that  on day 15 from the day your period started to day 20 is your most fertile time. Ot at least that is what they told me years ago when I was trying to get pregnant and it worked.  But do not think that there will be safe days. There is always a risk.
