When is breeding season for lovebirds plz help

Love birds as with all hook bills, breed best in the winter months, but given a nesting box they will breed year round.

Watch for breeding activity the female will tuck paper under tail and take into nest spot some will spend alot of time in the nest box and the male will sit outside the box watch for female to mate she will spread her wings and lift her tail ready for male. When they mate so no special time really my guess would be around May - Dec. They hatch 21-23 days if all eggs don't hatch leave alone could be off a day or so.For the 1st couple of weeks let hen do her job by tending to her babies can band at 2 weeks or 2 1/2 weeks This will be great time to give fruits and veggies since the female will try new foods at this time.
