When is carnivale held in Nice, France?

  2. The carnivals are traditionally held the week ending on Mardi Gras (which is the tuesday before Ash Wednesday...the beginning of lent). (This year it should have been on the weekend of february 2nd and 3rd as Ash Wednesday is on the 6th.. )

    HOWEVER... in Nice this year it will be held from feb. 16th till march second.
