When is elementary school vacation in Japan?

I hope to visit 1 or 2 elementary schools in Tokyo during my late November to early December trip but wondering if it happens to be vacation. Will I be able to make any school visits?

Some public schools in very large cities may observe a different  nigakisei schedule that is patterned on the American holiday schedule.

If you are considering enrolling your child in school you will need to telephone the neighborhood kyouikuiinkai first to discuss your move and schedule a tour of the school.

In Tokyo, they have summer vacations almost begins from July 25 to August 31.
