This is coming from a 17 year old so you must know that its getting out of hand...does anyone else getting sick of these fancy coffee drinks?

I walk into a starbucks to get a coffee..behind the counter is a skinny boy with 5 facial piercings and im pretty sure his "other member" was pierced too. Annorexic homosexual (im not homophobic.)

"Hello may I help you?"

"Yeah I would like a medium coffee."

"Uhm..yes we serve coffee but what sort and what size sir?"

"Black coffee."

"-sigh- Your making this difficult sir...just tell me the sort of drink that you want."

I CANT EVEN ORDER A BLACK COFFEE ANYMORE.

no, instead we have this c**p.

Hello, I would like a grande (where is the spanish/italian coming from?) frappichino with vanilla-chocolate shot of espresso with blueberry sprinkles, half soy milk 2%, with green tea herb.

Oh gosh, why dont you just throw in a toaster and strawberry muffin mix while your at it...

I am sick of this c**p.

Is anyone else?

  1. Yes, and sick of the ridiculous prices they charge just for the milk they have to use to cover up the burnt coffee they roast.

McDonald's and Dunkin' Donuts actually serve much better coffee for still reasonable prices, and you can order it black!

  2. I know right? They make it far too difficult to just order some freaking coffee!

  3. No, as the saying goes, variety is the spice of life. I only drink plain coffee, and when I order "Your largest house coffe to go", most of the staff is bright enough to put that together without further instruction. If it bothers you, just avoid going there.

  4. I am the manager of a Licensed Starbucks, and I am 100% sure that if you walked up to my counter and said, "I want a medium black coffee, please," anyone of my staff members could get that for you in less than twenty seconds.

Also, facial piercings are against the standards.  The kids at my store that have them have to take them out for their shifts.  Are you sure you're not mistaken?

As another poster mentioned, variety is a GOOD thing.  If you want a black coffee, it will always be there.  If you want complicated coffee, we can do that, too.

  5. Just make your own dang coffee from now on
