When is gi joe live action movie coming out?

august 7 2009 sam sommers is the director. I think that it is going to do well, but it is not going to break any records

I have been following it for over 10 years now.

It first surfaced about the same time as talk of doing Superman: Doomsday, (live action not that crappy animated one)

they were both to hold records for the biggest casting calls in hollywood history.

The cast so far is pretty good. I cant wait to see how they do with it.

It dropped out of site for a few years besides just rumors of it still being in the works.

Overall i think it has potential. If, they get a big cast as originally planned.

So far only about 20 names have had casted and a lot of em are Joes, just a few cobra names have been casted and announced.
