When is halo wars coming out?

What he said for the release date but I would like to add that NO, it will not be like the other Halo games. It is going to be an RTS that plays a lot like command and conquear games.

Halo Wars was originally due for Christmas this year, but has recently been pushed back for a tentative date of Spring 09.

It will not be like the other games in the Halo series, as they were First Person Shooters. This is a Real Time Strategy, and does not feature the Master Chief. There will be recongisable Halo vehicles and creatures though.

There is no official release date yet. IGN says Quarter 1 of 2009.

gamestop.com lists the release as 2/2/2009.

There isn't a firm release date yet, but that's the closest you are going to get for now.
