When is homecoming dance?

I am 13 turning 14 Aug 10 then I am starting high school the next day I live in Austell Ga when month does homecoming the first dance on the year takes place?

Normally about a month or two after school starts. It's during football season, because the dance is after the game (or its supposed to be, at my school the game is never over by 10, so i don't go to the dance because I'm in marching band).

Last year when i was a freshman it was in October and we started school late August. so there ya go! =]
