  2. .Depends on what you are referring to as room flowers? If their potted plants it really doesn't matter, just do not over water and make sure the is good drainage.

  3. I always water flowers in the morning. There is an old school thought that water on leaves in the sunlight will burn them but they now know this is not true. If you water in the morning it is cooler and you have less chance of evaporation which saves

    water. Do not water after sunset roses in particular hate that. There is an old saying that 'roses don't like to go to bed with their feet wet'.

  4. Two schools of thought!  I was actually taught both from the same University, different courses and different professors.

    1.  Early in the morning on plants and grasses.

    That way the sun coming up will dry off the leaves and prevent fungus diseases.

    2.  My tree professor swore that watering at sunset was best because it gave the trees time to absorb all the water during the night before the sun dried it out.

           So, what are you watering? You choose the application that best fits.
