  1. In March  the daylight hours will be getting longer to a noticeable degree.

  3. Approximately 3 years....

  5. December 21st.  Winter Solstice.

  6. uhmm

    ?

  7. we gain back a few minutes everyday until fall rolls back around

  8. When it's Summer

  9. Well, imagine this.

In the Northern Hemisphere the Winter Equinox (December 21st) is the shortest day (or the day with the least amount of daylight) and the Summer Equinox (June 21st) is the longest day (or the day with the most amount of daylight.)

We are obviously headed away from the Winter Equinox and toward the Summer Equinox, so the days will gradually be getting longer and longer.

Also, if you have daylights savings time, when we "spring forward" you will gain an hour in the evening which will probably be the most noticable one day change you will have.

  10. i live in fresno my a** u live in dinuba stop trying 2 be cool......in march 9 the day when ssbb come out

  11. you tell me....

  12. I'm assuming that you are a young child since you asked "When is it going to stop getting dark so early?" I think they teach this in 7th grade science classes. Or at least they used to. I'll explain. The earth ended its northernly tilt and again began tilting south again around December 20, 2007. It will continue this course until approximatley June 21, 2008, when it will again begin it's northerly tilt. Have you ever heard of the summer soltace or the winter equinox? Actually each day from now until June 21, 2008, we will be getting a little more sunshine each day. This is why it stays dark for nearly 24 hours a day in Alaska during the winter and nearly 24 hours of daylight there during the summer. And, this spring when you set your clocks ahead one-hour in Fresno, it will stay lighter a little longer into the evening and night.

  13. that's not about global warming it's about daylight savings, we'll turn our clocks ahead an hour in the spring..

  14. Mid March you'll start noticing it.

  15. Daylight Savings.

  16. d**n Fresno! Maybe summer months about may or June!

I said d**n because have you ever read a book called "buried onions"?

  17. around april

  18. when we spring forward... the shortest day of the year is on dec. 21, in march 21, there is an equal amount of daylight an night, and on june 21, it's the longest day of the year

  19. Just move to New Zealand :) we have summer and it generally always light over here untill about 2 in the morning till 5 am

  20. AT THE TIN\ME WHEN GLOBAL WARMING WILL BE STOPPED.

  21. First of all, it was nothing to do with "Global Warming" & Second of all, Everyone in the United States (with the expection of Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands, and Arizona) will turn their clocks an hour forward March 9th, thus giving us one more hour of daylight.
