  1. i used to fly on my own when i was about 6 years old..my parents would take me to the airport, and my grandparents would meet me at the other end.


  2. it really depends on the airline your travelling with. Usually it's 12 or 13, sometimes maybe older. If your 12 or under, the airline may require you to sign up for the "unaccomplanied minor" service.

  3. nowadays, per international standards, for minors (below 18yrs) to travel out of the country will require a special permit from your Dep't of Social Welfare.  This permit will have to have the consent of both parents also.

    For you to travel safely abroad, without an accompanying adult, you have to be 18years old and above.  Just ensure you have the proper travel documents with you, such as passport.
