When is it projected the new iPods come out?

I am thinking about buying a silver or black 8GB iPod Nano, however, I dont want to buy one, only to see new ipod nanos come out a few weeks later. So I was wondering if anyone knows when Apple will release the new ipods or if they even plan on updating them this year? Thanks!
