during junior or senior years of highschool is a good time to take a trip to colleges.

oh! just remembered, some school sponsors some college trips. ask your councelor about that. i know my school have em.

i say start junior year and on into senior year

i didn't have an opportunity to start my college visits until this summer and now i'm running out of time

Ideally, you should go along when in year 12 so you make an informed and well thought out decision.

But a lot of people wait until year 13, as that's the time they're filling out the forms, and have their year 12 results to go by to evaluate where they can apply to.
