We just moved and all the cat does is try to escape. I know cats don't move well and am very nervous since it is my daughters cat and she would be devastated if anything happened to Aurora. She has been locked in the house 4 three weeks. How can I make sure she knows where she lives now before letting her play. P.S. I know keeping her inside would be safer.........any ideas how to do that?

  1. She should not be let out.  Letting them out leaves them exposed to all sorts of things like FIP, fleas, fights with the local wildlife and many other things.  It does reduce their longevity.  Please keep your pets inside.

If you insist that you cat go outdoors, there are many items on the market that you can attach to a window so it protects them but lets them outside.

  2. my mums cat was the same, id give it a while my mum wouldn't let judy (the cat) out until after a month. give your cat some time to settle in before letting it explore the back garden or whereever  i think you should give it another month :D

  3. Let her out for 10 minutes and then see where she is but if shes gone she will come back because cats always come back for food they can smell it def if there hungry!! SO if she gos theres a high change she will come back!!!!! Shes prob dying to go out and if you that worryed watch her in the yard and if she trys to escape grap her!!!!!!!!QUICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
