Depending on what college I go to, it will be three to three and a half years of college work to get the degree I want. At the end of the education I will be 50 years old. I hope to formally retire at 65, but probably work part time until I am 72. When I graduate at 50 I will have 35 to 40K in college loans. While I can expect my income to go up 10 to 25K per year, I am not sure how I will be looked at in the work place as a intern who is 50 years old. What do you think?
