When is it to late to have an aboration?

My little cousin say's she's going to be having a baby the doctor says she's 3 mouths 1 week along. When is it to late to have an aboration

i think it's kind of late, maybe she should just give birth to the baby and if she doesn't want it, she can give it to a family who wants to adopt (like Juno)

Well, first off, does SHE want the abortion?

And it's never too late to have one.  It's just riskier (and not to mention more expensive) to have one when one is further along.  If I'm not mistaken, it's more stressful on the woman to wait until later too, because she would have time to realize that she carries a life within her, and she might get attached to it.

Abortion is just wrong. Unless its medically necessary. Ok when having s*x its usually done by Adults and usually results in a Baby plopping out 9 months later. So if one decides to have a romp in the hay and not take a precaution to the usual outcome of s***n meets an egg then. I feel suffer threw and have the baby.

Most abortion clinics will only go up to 17 weeks 3 days(thats illinois) there are some (very few) that will go up to 26 weeks, but she will pay A LOT more, and it does become a much more complicated surgery and much more painful.  So right now it seems according to you that she is 22 weeks long...she really needs to figure out what she really wants to do, if she really wants this abortion, then she needs to act, fast. Hey, Christina: last time I checked, (3x4) + 1 = 12+1 = 13.  I'm pretty certain she made up the number of weeks anyways, but it varies depending on the state and clinic, so I can't say for certain.

If this is something your cousin wants, have her go to the doctor sooner rather than later.  She may already be too late, but if not, time is quickly running out.  She's right at the end of the first trimester, which is often when clinics stop giving abortions.

After 6 months the baby can almost survive on it's own so most doctors won't do an abortion unless her health is in danger. Some won't do anything after 5 months even.

She can do one up until then unless the law there says otherwise (it varies). 3 months she is probably okay but the abortion will be more painful for her than if it was earlier. But make sure that she actually wants it, and unless she brings it up, DO NOT suggest it to her. It will only hurt her. If she wants to keep the baby but you don't think she should, suggest adoption, but do NOT suggest abortion unless she is already considering it.
