  1. Well labor can happen at any time. with my first child i was just getting out of the pool and i thought it was just water dripping from my bathing suit until i went to the bathroom and i had some blood and i went to the hospital and my second child my water broke at a doctors appointment so good luck it could happen at any time

  2. Babies are generall born in the night when your body is relaxed.  Mine all came in the night.

  3. This is just my opinion but I tend to think it occurs at night more often because your body is in a relaxed state and it allows dialation to occur easily. Labors can happen at any time but it just makes more sense that at least early labor start more often at night.

  4. on a full moon!!!

  5. at night so you'll be tired lol the baby is mean like that

  6. the baby will come when ever it gets ready. they dont care what time it is. lol good luck and congrats!

  7. most women will go into labor at night because moms bodies are most relaxed.

More babies are born on tuesday than any other day!

And for me it was a slow process, I remember waking with my first contraction thinking "hey that was a real one"

Then 48 hours later my baby was born.

  8. O honey it could happen in your sleep, but the contractions WILL wake you.

  9. Labor occurs when the baby is ready!!! And they have no concept of time!!

  10. You mean, when does it begin?  I think it's pretty evenly spaced around the clock. (But since labor usually lasts more than 10-12 hours, if you go into labor, during the day, baby will probably be born at night.)

My labor began during the day -- I'd wakened the night before with a few contractions, but they went away.  A few more random ones during the day, but they settled into a real pattern around supper time.

(And don't think it's going to be any sort of "BAM!"  Unlike tv shows, where women usually either have their water break first, or are doubled over/screaming in pain with the first contraction, REAL labor starts gradually.  You probably won't even be sure at first that it IS labor -- just a slight backache or cramps that you aren't sure are contractions or braxton hicks.)
