  1. On 16 August in her MySpace blog Allen said the album had been "finished for awhile now" but that "I don't really know whats going on with it". She speculated that the delays were a result of her record label EMI being taken over by a private equity firm called Terra Firma noting that many people that were working on her projects have being fired or have taken redundancy. EMI has not commented on Allen's statements.
