well its spelled Mardi Gras and its usually in the middle of february and it ends on fat tuesday...

Mardi Gras... It is one Tuesday in between the end of January and the middle of March. I live in Mandeville right north of Metarie and the New Orleans Parish area so Mardi Gras is a big holiday!!!!!!!!
