  1. You should ovulate around the 26th - 28th (days 14-16). Your lutheal phase begins the day after you ovulate and ends the day before your next period starts, which would be September 11th. In order to know exactly when you ovulate you need to be charting. Try www.fertilityfriend.com. You can chart for free and they will tell you when you ovulate and exactly when your lutheal phase starts.

  2. Ovulation usually occurs sometime about halfway through your cycle.  So with a thirty day cycle I would say you are likely to ovulate maybe August 25th-29th.  Use bbt or opk to be sure.  Your luteal phase starts right after you ovulate and ends when you start your period.  hope that helps!

  3. i just asked the ? "what is the luteal phase".. can't wait to see the answer..

  4. A woman usually ovulates  14 days before her period is due.  So, since you have a 30 day cycle, you would ovulate on cd 16.. So, since your period is due on Aug 12, you would have ovulated on or around July 30th.  Thats when your luteal phase starts.. the luteal phase is the time between your ovulation and your next period.

Your next ovulation will be on or around August 28.  So, On August 20th, start having intercourse every day, if not every other day, till after August 30th.  After the intercourse, prop your hips for 15-30 minutes.  No hot baths for you or him during this time.

To best know IF you are ovulating, go buy an OPK (ovulation predictor kit) and follow the directions on the box.

    GOOD LUCK!
