The rumor is May/June for a U.S. release date, but we're hoping to see it in the next 2 to 3 months.  Let's keep our fingers crossed.  For folks waiting to jump on the Blu-ray wagon, this is the player you've been waiting for.

You probably already know it's the world's first Blu-ray Disc player which offers "Profile 2.0" (the final version software for BD) and also the first player to offer INTERNAL decoding for "DTSHD Master Audio" (and "DolbyTrueHD").

All of these internal audio decoders make it possible to connect Panasonic's new player into an older Home Theater via an analog connection, taking advantage of these new UNCOMRESSED audio formats without buying an entirely new set up.
