when is racism? It seems a lot people scream racism when they dont get with they want without dealing with the fact that that's life. So when is racism racism?

  1. when someone treats someone differently in some way because of their race, it's racism. For people of a race that have been historically (and presently) discriminated against, it can be difficult sometimes to ascertain whether someone is treating them in a negative way due to racism or personal dislike (i.e. sometimes we just might not like someone because of who they are and it has nothing to do with their race).


  2. Anything that puts any race at a lower level of respect than another

  3. Many people do not like other people and this is true of race as well.  That is not racism.

    However when you act against that person or talk against them because of your feelings or belief then that is most certainly racist!!

    If you see it as a fact of life then you are almost certainly a racist!!

  4. Any time a person's ethnic origin is included with and/or associated with negative, derogatory, degrading aspects.

    One thing to remember is that racism is inclusive within the ethnic groups...it might have a different descriptive word used in place of racism, but it can be considered as such, nonetheless.

  5. The disease is already planted from years of bigotry.  So when

    someone is overlooked, especially a minority its always a factor

    when they are being selected by a white person.  However

    even whites now think they are discriminated for similar reasons.
