When is ramadan starting?

i think last year the first day was the 13th so is the first day the 3rd? some people are saying the 2nd which is correct?

where do you stay sister. it depends on when you see the moon. you can't be sure of it untill the last moment. one can never say it's 3rd or 2nd. it depends on how many days the month of Sha'baan has .if it has 29 then it'll start on 2nd but if it has 30 then it'll start on 3rd.

Ramadan is month according to the Islamic calender, and it doesn't correspond to the Georgian calender, but this year the first day of Ramadan coincides with the 1st or 2nd day of September, thats it.
