When is spring break for college students in the states?

Most of it was last week. Usually the month of march in general though. Might have some at the end.

I know this might seem strange but i have it in April. But it is mostly this week and last week.

Its different for everyone... mine was last week.. a lot of my friends had it the week before me.. and some people have it this week...

Every college determines their own spring break. It's not regulated like in some European countries.  Generally, it's sometime between the middle to end of March or the week before or after Easter.
