When is the 1st day of school for kids(elementary & highschool) in the US?

I start my senior year at high school on September 4th.

i am in the elk grove district and school starts on august 25th for jr and high school. as for elementary school, it vaires by "track", like instead of going to school for 9 months and have a 3 month break, u go for 3 months, take a 1 month break and repeat.

i also kno that the san juaquin (how do u spell it?) district starts on august 18th (since my frend will be going there).

san bernardino school district- august 25 for traditional, august 22 for fresman

redlands school district- auguts 11

my friends, who go to public and live in san francisco, start august 25.
