Santa Anita operates two meets during the year.

December 26 is the traditional starting date of the Santa Anita winter-spring meet.  It runs for 85 racing days, ending in late April.

Racing then goes to Hollywood Park, then to Del Mar, and then to Pomona for the Pomona Fair meet.  Racing returns to Santa Anita for the Oak Tree meet, from early October to early November.  

Right now Hollywood Park is open, so your next chance to see racing at Santa Anita is going to be in October.

the Santa Anita derby is always on the 1st Saturday of April, exactly 1 month before the Kentucky derby

They have races there all the time, i go to arcadia every once n awhile. unless your talkng baout the derby, im not sure when that is.
