James Cameron, the original screen play writer and director of the movie, was quoted in Harvard's quarterly called "The Lampoon" is indeed working on a script for Titantic 2,he's just trying to figure out the historical facts that the first movie covered,such as the ship sank and Jack died, making it impossible to cast original members , but he's also working on the possibility of "Jack" coming back as a cyborg in from the future .... wait, I don;t want to ruin the plot, but look for it trailers on youtube very, very soon!!!!

I know you don't want anyone to say that, but it's the truth. The whole Titanic 2 things was just a joke. Now it would be cool if they made another but they are not. I mean really how can then?

Are you talking about a ship though? Because I did hear they were planned to make a Titanic 2 ship, but right now they are over budget.

I don't know if any of you have seen the definitely Fake movie trailer for Titanic 2 but it's hilarious. I mean, the fact that people ACTUALLY think it's real is beyond me. It has like Jack being lifted from the ocean in a block of ice and being cut out of it. You can clearly see that someone did a very good editing job.. but it's partially a scene from Austin Powers =P

I just kinda laughed at the whole thing. People are so gullible.

Anyway, I'm sorry you don't want to hear it but it's a hoax, a joke, a good laugh. No Titanic 2. Ship sank. Unless you're wanting old lady Rose to jump off the side of the ship, grow some gills and discover that all the people who died on the Titanic became merpeople and created a new civilization.

that's the results for "titanic 2" on imdb.com. they always have preproduction information at the very least and there's no trace of this movie existing there :/

They are NOT making a second one...

I saw a teaser trailer of "Titanic 2" but it was fake...it was made by the producer of the first movie...they aren't planning to make a second one.

I haven't seen any announcements that a second Titanic movie is being filmed or has been filmed. While I guess it would be possible to focus on other passengers on the doomed ship, I don't see the point of doing that. Any film featuring the Titanic can only end one way and I think the chances of a sequel doing even a fraction of the business of the original film is slight. Frankly, I suspect you have been misinformed.

I'll believe a second Titanic movie has been made when I decide not to go see it and not a moment before.

Titanic 2 is not coming out.

It was never even considered. Ever. The "teaser trailer" that many have seen is a hoax, a joke played by the original crew.

It might not be what you want to hear, but it answers your question.

they are not making one. i just looked it up. they movie trailers for it are fake. there are scenes from teh movie "con air" and "romeo and juliet" and even parts from teh original "titanic" trailer in the titanic 2 trailer. its fake. THEY ARE NOT MAKING ONE.
