When is the antenna for tvs going out?

i know someone told me that they were going to shut them off so u would have to but a box and use that will someone plez tell me or give me a site where i can find it thank u

  1. The antenna isn't gonna get shut off. It's just that the government is requiring all broadcasters to switch from analog to digital only broadcasting. To get a converter box, head down to your local retailer like Wal-Mart, Radio Shack, Best Buy, or Circuit City and get one for about $40. I think it's might be too late to get a converter box coupon now, because the deadline was March 31, or when supplies are exhausted.

  3. The antenna will still be usable. As others have stated, you will need a converter box after Feb 17, 2009, if you are not on cable or satellite.
