  2. NaomiB hit this on the head, there are a few places just outside Dublin that are worth a visit too, Glendalough is one for sure - you can check it out here

Another place worth a visit is New Grange - here's a link http://www.heritageireland.ie/en/Histori...

Here's a link for places of interest in the Dublin area too http://www.heritageireland.ie/en/Histori...

The weather here at the moment is starting to get cold and damp so wrap up warm.. if you want to know anything else - let me know :o)

  3. It doesnt really matter when you visit you can still see a lot although i was there from Jan til May and Late March through May were the best months winter was really really rainy and windy.  There are a lot of nice places to visit, book of Kells, St Patricks Cathedral, the park and zoo etc there are a lot of buses that have hop on hop of tours you buy tickets they give you a map and all day you can get on and off and visit the places you want and the map will have discounts if you need to buy tickets and let you know about the different places and point out historical monuments and places as you pass them.

  4. When? St Patrick's Day is in March

  5. Hello there!

I think it doesn't really matter in which season you visit Ireland.  There're plenty of places to visit. I'd recommend the National Gallery, here its website:http://www.nationalgallery.ie/

    Admission is free.

If you like museums, the National Museum of Ireland:http://www.museum.ie/

    Admission is free.

When the weather is nice, you can visit Dublin Zoo:

    http://www.dublinzoo.ie/ (I really enjoyed it!)

    Guiness Storehouse:http://www.guinness-storehouse.com

    it's worth to visit.

Here is the official visitors guide to Dublin: www.discoverireland.ie

I hope I could help, if you have any further questions don't hesitate, drop me an email.

    Bye for now!

    Naomi
