When is the best time, in the Fall to fertilize my shrubs?

  1. Fertilizing shrubs will naturally result in a growth spurt.  So it's really not wise to do it too late in the year.  Late August or early September is best.  Any new growth will have a chance to get established before the cold of winter sets in.


  2. At the end of the growing season, just before you stop mowing grass, is a good indicator. If it's a dry time, be sure to water in, as well.

  3. End of August. Time for it to soak in, but before it get really cold.
