When is the best time for crabbing in oregon,coos bay?

Typically the best crabbing is about one hour before high tide, through the slack, and one hour into the outgoing.  If you enjoy it like I do, give another hour on each side of the tide.  Not sure when the tide will be?  Most sporting good stores have tide charts, or you can find it online by typing oregon tide charts into google.  

For bait, get some chicken and leave it out for a day or two - the stinkier the better.  Don't forget in Oregon now you need a shellfish license to crab as well as a fishing license.
