I am planning my climb for February '09 and would appreciate some feedback from those who have done the climb. I realize there is a price difference depending on when you climb, but I want to make the most of my trip! For those who did the evening climbs, did the pictures the guides took turn out nicely?

  1. I've done the climb. Did it at 3pm.  It was awesome and because it was a clear blue sky you could see everything.

I know that the 'dusk' climbs are more expensive which would indicate that they are 'better' but I don't think I would have been able to appreciate a view as well if it was all dark except for street and office lights.  But the sunset woud have been pretty, and dusk is supposed to be the best time for photos (my husband and I are looking into the sun for most of our photos, so we are both squinting a bit - but they still look good).

I think that you will have an awesome time and get some wonderful photos no matter what time you go.  Just don't look down... :)

    Have fun!!

but when you're a local you really can't be bother to do it haha
