  1. the best time to go is in the summer but it also depends on what seas you are cruising in

  2. If you don't mind kids, then the summer and winter holiday is great, but if you don't want lots of kids, then plan on other times. Everything depends on where you want to go, like Alaska is only during the summer and some ships do not go to the Caribbean during hurricane season, or you are limited. So the first question is where, not when. As far as I'm concerned, there is not a bad season to cruise. My all time favorite was on an Alaskan cruise/tour with Princess cruise lines.

  3. Hurricane season is now till November ...

  4. I think it depends on your destination. If you cruise in the Carribean, I wouldn't recommend going there in the summer.. maybe spring or autumn or even winter. For a cruise in other areas probably summer would be best....so that you have the chance to sunbath and swim outside.

  5. I went on a carribean cruise to costa maya/cozumel in October and the weather was great. It was hot enough to go swimming.

  6. It depends on quite a few factors. First of all, where are you going? If you're going to a northern destination, maybe a summer cruise would be best so it won't be too cold. If you're going southern (like the Caribbean), a winter cruise might be best so it won't be overwhelmingly hot. Of course, travelling in the winter poses the risk of snowstorms and such causing delays.

If you don't mind kids, you can travel in the summer. If you don't want to be bothered with kids, travelling during the school year (but not winter or spring break season) will be best.

Also keep in mind that summer to early fall is hurricane season.

A final tip, if you plan on flying to your cruise ship, buy the airfare on your own. Cruise lines will often have bad (and very expensive) flights. Buy your own. It is ideal to fly in the day before and spend the night in your port city. This way, if there is a delay of some sort, you don't risk missing the boat. If you do fly the day of the cruise, try to arrive as early as possible, again for the same reason. The ship won't wait for you if you're late.

Good luck! Cruising is a lot of fun.

  7. Everywghere is good. Cruise shps cruise different places at different times of the year. For example when its hurricane season in the carib, most ships  come back to the Med or sail up to Alaska. The best thing is choose your cruise for what you want to experience (sights).  The are some really good blogs written by people who work on ships try

http://allaboutworkingoncruiseships.blog... or type in work on cruise hsips in yahoo and you will find lots of info.

  8. depends where you are going but by saying a disney sounds like the caribbean...hurrican season is actually may-oct long season.....but usually if there is a hurricane the cruise will go to different ports if possible if not then they will cancel the cruise so its best to purchase the cruise insurance during those times

  9. early summen late spring when its not to hot or cold. (unless u likve in Washington state the weather here sucks)

  10. Depends on where & when you can go. Cruise lines offer special rates at the start & end of season. Also where you sail depends on the make up of the other quests. Summer time more families, Spring more college kids & lots of parties etc. Also if you are more interested in the cruise experience or more interested in ports of call. Alot to consider. Just decide what you would like to see or visit. For me I love ALASKA. Been there 23 times. The SCENERY, WILDLIFE, meeting new people on the ship from all over the world. Try either Princess.com or 1-800-Princess & ask for their free escapes DVD that will allow you to see where you will be cruising to & a tour of their fleet of ships.

A cruise is AMAZING & althou everyone has different tastes is a great vacation.

    ENJOY.
