  1. January & early May, during the week.

  2. I went first 2 weeks in May - my boyfriend whos been 3 times couldnt believe how quiet is was!

Most kids are at school during this time.

  3. Best time of year to go:

Someone mentioned November and December.  If you go in early November before Thanksgiving, or in early December before Christmas, this is a good time to go.  Not during the holidays, though, especially Christmas.  January after New Year's is an excellent low-crowd time.  Most of February is also good.  March and April aren't as good, but are usually good times.

There are four parks at Disney World: Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios.  You definitely have to go to Magic Kingdom.  You can purchase multi-day passes that allow you to go to whichever park you want.  You can also add the "hopper" option, which allows you to go to more than one park in the same day.  So it depends on how long you will be there.  An excellent planning site, which lists out all the attractions to help you decide, is http://www.allearsnet.com

For your first trip, I would highly recommend staying on-site at a Disney resort.  It just makes things easier.

  4. i went with my family in may for 3 weeks. it's much cheaper because we went in between the may half term and was in term time. it's not necessarily quiet though because you have lots of families thinking of the same thing. BARGAINS. i would recommend Epcot, obviously the main disneyland park and the water parks. i can't really help you with places to stay other than to stay in a villa which we did that had it's own pool as you have privacy and it's much more relaxing if you have your own place as supposed to going back to a hotel.

  5. Apparently around fall because mostly everyones back home from vacation and in school

Plus it's alot easier to walk around and enjoy Disney because it isnt so crowded and not as hot!

  6. ive been twice, once in august, was packed had to wait 2 hours in queues, when in january, and we didnt need fast pass, just went through was empty, were going again this january, heat is fine not to hot and not bad weather, in august i had heat rush so, january i would say is best time to go.

  7. It is Disney World in Florida. Disneyland is in California.

I have been there in February and March. Weather is still nice 60s to 70s. Less people!!!

I found it funny that many Floridians wear a scarf and parka when the temperature was 60 F. I was swimming in the heated pool at the time.

Buy your tickets to the parks online or at the Tourist bureau in Orlando for cheaper prices. With those tickets, you bypass the lines.

Stay in a hotel in Kissimee which is next door to Disney World but way cheaper than in the Disney World.

Disney World is not the only place there. Visit WonderWorks, Orlando Science Center, Holy Land Experience, and Kennedy Space Center which are way cheaper. Downtown Disney is free.

  8. I have found the best times of year that I have been are in February and September. We were able to get off a ride and get right back onto it. It was awesome!!

  9. I've got all your info right here..

For your first question, the best time to go would probably be in November, December, or February. Simply because by that time a lot of kids are in school and the parks are a lot less crowded. And going in those months the weather is really nice and you don't have to worry about waiting on hour long lines in the heat. The lines will be pretty short for Nov,Dec, and Jan. As far as where to stay, my family and I have always stayed at the Beach Club Resort. It's an amazing place to stay and have great pools. You also might enjoy going to stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, just because all of the rooms look out to a savanna and if you're lucky, you might be able to see some animals! Another good place to stay at is The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness. They have a great family place there, you can rent out your log cabins and have woods behind the cabin. And have neighboring cabins all around. Plus, for the kids (adults love it too) They have special movie nights where Chip 'n Dale host a campfire movie night with marshmallow roasting and everything! They also have golf-carts you can rent and a little Trading Post nearby. (But that's only for Fort Wilderness.) And as far as parks. Your daughter would have a blast at Magic Kingdom! They have all kinds of family rides for all ages!  And sometimes they have character meet and greets where she can see all of the Disney Princess'! If you are looking for rides to go on, then I suggest (this is for Magic Kingdom)::: 1) Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor. There you can interact with Mike and tell jokes. 2) It's A Small World. That's a nice calming boat ride with dancing and singing dolls. 3) Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin. That's a great ride. Where you get to have your lazer and shoot targets at aliens for points and who gets the most at the end wins! 4) Dumbo The Flying Elephant. You go up in the air and spin around slowly (It's a child's ride, not scary at all) 5) Peter Pan's Flight. You go up in the "sky" in Peter Pan's ship and sail over the city.(indoor ride) 6) Magic Carpets of Aladdin (same as dumbo except your on a magic carpet) 7) The many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh. You take a journey through the 100 Acre Wood in Pooh's Honey Pot. (Such a cute ride) 8) Jungle Cruise. A nice boat ride through the "Jungles!" 9) The Haunted Mansion. That kind of speaks for itself. haha. It's not scary. You board your "Doom Buggy" and take a ride through the Haunted Mansion. Its a fun ride! 10) Mad Tea Party. A really fun ride where you get into Tea Cups and spin around and around and around. lol. 11) Pirates of The Caribbean. Not too sure if your daughter would like that one, Just because it has a bit of a "waterfall" at the end. It's not too steep, but before you get on the ride, all you have to do is ask and they will tell you how steep it is. 12) Snow White's Scary Adventures. It's not really scary. It's a little ride following the story of Snow White. It's also a fun ride for the little ones! 13) Stitch's Great Escape! That's an extremely fun ride! Be prepared for hilarious high-jinks when Stitch unleashes his naughty self in this out-of-control, high-energy escapade complete with sights, sounds and — ewwwww —smells! You're in the midst of the mayhem and you never know when — and where — Stitch will appear next! 14) Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Also not sure if your daughter would like it,  Its basically a "roller coaster" but at the same time its not, it has hairpin turns and it doesn't go really fast, but i don't know if I would recommend it for a 6 year old. And lastly, you can go into Mickey's Toon Town Fair. That's where all of the great children's attractions are and I'm pretty sure that they have their little character meet and greets with Mickey and Minnie. Well that's all I got for now, hope I helped!

Good luck! Have a great time!

  10. Thw quietest time would be during the school year and during the week when all the other kids or at school.   The long lines in the summer and holidays gets old fast.    The best time of year would be in the fall.   There is no cheaper time unless you get discounts somewhere.   You can visit the timeshare walk through's and get 2 tickets for free, but you have to share about 3 hours of your time looking at condo's that you might not be intersted in.   For a six year old, I would make sure that you go to Disney World itself so that she can see cinderella's castle.    I don't think she will be interested too much in MGM or Universal Studios.   Maybe take her to Sea World and Animal Kingdom (not a zoo)  just a big parks with rides and animals walking around.     Good luck

  11. The three cheapest times of the year are August, after Thanksgiving to the week before Christmas, and January through mid February.  Disney calls these "value seasons."  In addition, in August and September Disney has traditionally made its dining plan free for some packages, which would make it the cheapest.

Except for the first half of AUgust, and MLK day weekend, these are also low-crowd periods.  Of them, the after before Xmas is best.  August and September are the peak of the hurricane season, and January is the traditional time for rides to be closed for repair.  The weeks I recommend are lowest price, lowest crowds, and have great Xmas events and decorations!!

For more on price seasons at Disney World, see this page: http://yourfirstvisit.net/planning-your-...

For more on forecasting future crowds at WDW, see this page: http://yourfirstvisit.net/planning-your-...

Both pages are from a site for first time visitors to Disney World--it will also answer all of your other questions--maybe including some you don't know about yet :)

Good luck and have a great trip!! Dave

  12. I usually go mid November through to early December, Its really fun at that time as its so close to christmas with all the parades and parties

  13. ok someone said go early nov or ealy december but not around thanks giving well let me tell you that my family has gone many times over the last two weeks of nov including thanks giving since the resort opened in 1977 and the crowds are very light.

the other best times to go are:

    all of nov.

    dec 1st-21st

    from jan 5th on

    all of feb

    all of march

    second half of april

    all of may

    first two weeks of june.

you won't find tickets to the parks cheaper at any certain time of year. disney doesn't do ticket discounts they are $75 per adult and $63 per child 3-9. but as you buy more days the price per ticket goes way down. you can see how that works right here:http://tickets.disney.go.com/buy/TicketT...

personally i would stay on disney property.

i love the pop century resort and it costs $82 most of the year and $129 for the busiest time like christmas to new years.

you also get benefits to staying at disney such as:

-free pick up and drop off from airport to hotel and back

-free transportation from your hotel to anywhere in disney world. so there is no need to rent a car.

-extra magic hours where cuz you are staying at disney certain days certain parks open either an hour early or stay open for up to 3 hours late. and its only available for disney world hotel guests.

-option of getting the disney dining plan which is only offered to hotel guests.

-free luggage pick up and delivery so you can bypass the baggage claim.

i would go to 3 of the 4 disney world parks.

    magic kingdom

    epcot

    hollywood studios

i wouldn't go to animal kingdom cuz its basically a glorified zoo with a few rides. the animals tend to hide in their shelter when its hot so you can see them well. the expedition everest ride is really just a big thinder mountain railroad coaster but they've tossed a yeti in the mix and you go backwards for a few seconds.

my 8 year old niece found the park more boring then me and my sister did.

personally i wouldn't waste the time or money to go there again. but obviously you need to make the decission of whether to go or not based on your personal preferences.

if you like a slow paced day that you can leisurely walk around then maybe you'd like it there. my family even the little ones are more adventurous and like the thrill rides along with the classic slower moving rides with a story to them.

i would go to the disney website and price your trip. you can customize everything from:

    -hotel room

    -ticket days and options

    -dining plan

    -flights

-free transport from airport to hotel and back.

just put in your info and customize your trip. there is no obligation to book the trip. this way you have an idea of prices and if you'd like to book it you can or you could always go through a travel agent if you'd like.

  14. The best times are always when the vacation months are over. For my own experience, after labor day weekend is the BEST!

All of Disney's parks provide their own entertainment and fun stuffs to do.
