  1. Download Weather Toolbar - Instant weather reports, forecasts, and radar images anytime for free - http://surl.in/HLWTD261252BMRMTGQ

  2. I would sugest from December to March, also Machu Picchu in Quechua means big mountain also is a mile high about sea level and you need proper care so you don't get sick. I would sugest you book a package tour allow yourself a couple of days to get use to the altitude. Also bring a nice digital camera so you don't run out of film. The most important part on being in Peru oi that they don't use 120 volts down there is 230 volts for everything so don't plug your equipment or you would burn it , you need a transformer. Be careful what to plug and how they use 230 volts for everything!

  3. Try to avoid going there between January - April, there is a high chance it will rain. Although, Cuzco is very well known for having the best New Year's Eve celebration.

Best time weather wise would be June - August.

  4. The clearest weather, fewest clouds, less likelihood of rain is generally considered the best time to visit.  These months are June-October. January-April is slightly warmer, but with higher chance of rain.

There are several celebrations which celebrate ancient tribal customs in or near Cusco, including Inti Raymi (June 24), Waurachicuy (Sept 17) and Paucartambo (2nd week of July).

  5. The best time to visit machu pichu is may trough august. The tribes don't come to machu pichu....

You can see a representations of the Inti Raymi (this is an ancient party the incas did to celebrate the solstice of winter or summer ) this is celebrate every 24 of June at Sacsayhuaman (located near the main plaza of cuzco is about 5min buy car)

  6. Best time to go to Machu Picchu, June and July great weather, few rains.

Tribes??, you can still find tribes but in the jungle (Amazonas), they don't come to you.You have to go see them, they're friendly, so don't worry. If you meant the Incas, they were not a tribe. Read a little before you go, it'll help.

  7. Machu Picchu is in the upper amazon, so you usually don't get much cold weather. What you do get is a lot of rain, especially from about November to about April. Most people try to go around June. Less chance of rain and the southern hemisphere winter is just starting, so it is the perfect moment.

I don't know what you mean about the "tribes". If by "tribes" you mean local folklore, then you're probably talking about the "inti Raymi" the feast of the sun. This is in October, but you have to reserve years in advance for that.
