When is the best time to apply for a job around the holiday season??

I want to work at a place like Micheal's arts and crafts or bath and body works or victoria's secret. I was wondering when the best time to apply would be.

Probably around Halloween. You could always go in and ask if you are only looking for holiday work, as some companies have different seasonal application times. However, for most places, the seasonal workers are brought in late October since that is when retail begins to pick up for the Christmas season. They want to have everyone trained and ready by "Black Friday" which is the day after Thanksgiving.

I used to work retail. Just remember, it never hurts to ask.

You should start to apply around the first of October, this will cover Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
