When is the best time to book a cheapest flight to India?

Hi.

I was just checking the tickets fares to travel to India next summer. I am really surprised to see that the airfares start at 1900 and above. I did the search through expedia.ca. Is it because this is a really high season and therefore the tickets are showing up as this expensive.

Can somebody please answer my question. I would really really appreciate any kind of advice.

Please don't get duped by the prices shown on websites...

Every website offering tickets through them, add a huge margin of their to the prices.

Infact since nowadays its summer, you can get lots of discounts on various flights to India. Better to contact a Travel Tour Operator in India.

It happend 5 years ago. So you're too late for a cheap flight... Because Jet fuel has gotten SO expensive- Airfare is getting MORE Expensive- too. And it's only going to get WORSE; so buy your Tickets NOW, -before the "Cheapest Flights" start at $2,200 !!!  :0

Don't buy that flight from Expedia.  They are good for domestic flights and flights to Europe but have terrible fares for most other international flights.

If you are flying from Toronto or Vancouver, look for a travel agent in the South Asian community there.  The ticket is normally $1000 US but I would expect to pay more like $1200-1300 because of the fuel costs.  If you can't find anything, get a cheap ticket to London or Dubai and then get a flight to India from there.
