my period is 3days late now, i took pregnancy test today which was negative, so when is the best time to test?

Your urine is more concentrated first thing of a morning.  Therefore, it will have more of the hormone HCG and show up easier if you are pregnant.  And I would test about a week after you have missed your period. Although there are tests that can detect pregnancy the first week.

Since you've missed your period anytime is a time to test. In the morning is the best because more of the hormones will be present then. I'd test every two days or so. Try different tests maybe. If it gets to be a long time that your period hasn't shown, go to a doctor. The will do a blood test. If that is still negative there maybe another reason why you missed. you can test as early as the day after you missed your period. and if oyu are three days late and it is negative and no period--test again in a few days, and if it is negative and still no period seek blood work for  ablood pregnancy test. but, if oyu have a negative 3 days late. probably just an off-cycle. be sure to use first morning urine though. other side effects for no period--stress, cysts, etc.
