When is the best time to go snowboarding at les arcs?

I want to surprise my hubby for his 30th bday and he has always wanted to go to les arcs snowboarding what is the best time to go ? how long do ppl normally go for? and where are the best places to stay if your on a tight budget.

Without a doubt...early Jan!! It's cheap and the snow is FANTASTIC! I go there every year around the 10th Jan and every year we get the most amazing snow and great sunny weather! We go for a week, with Neilson (there's loads of other comapnied that go there...including, Ski world, Crystal...there's loads!) and stay in one of there self catered chalets...last year 6 of us went and it cost us £219 per person includes flights, transfers and accomadation! On a budget definately go self catered!

Lift pass is extra though and it does depend which pass you go for! This last season the Vanoise express was closed, which is the lift that takes you from Les Arcs to La Plagne, so we couldn't get a Paradiski pass and Les Arcs pass was the only one available...but its more than enough for a week!

You will have the most fantastic time it is an awesome area to board in! Oh and they have a great park....if you're up for that!!!!!

i go there all the time ! the best time to go is in the early winter when the weather is pretty fair. and i'm sorry to say that there really is no budget friendly hotels but for better rate you'be alot farther from the slopes
