I'm talking about any weekends this May or any day in June(after June 5th...school), July or August, and how busy it is going to be.

  1. Unfortunately, it's probably going to be busy no matter what day you go. You might want to go in May and I think they tend to be less busy on Sundays.

Here are some tips, though, that I have found help to avoid crowds:

Get there as soon as they open, and don't make one of the big rides (Millennium Force, Dragster, Maverick) your first ride. Go to a less popular ride first, like Magnum or Mean Streak (etc). On a Sunday you will probably be able to walk right on either of those rides (I think Mean Streak might open later, though, so you should ask someone that works there).

In the middle of the day, everything's going to be pretty busy. I would go on rides that have lines in the shade if possible! The line for Skyhawk and MaxAir are usually pretty short b/c they hold so many people, so it might be a good time to go on those. Or go on some of the water rides (Snake River Falls, Thunder Canyon) if it's a hot day. They're a blast and it's sooo refreshing if it's hot! Then after that you could go on either Millennium Force, Dragster or Maverick, the rides with the longest lines. It might still be a long wait, but at least you'll be cooled off!

Then I would ride some more roller coasters, but not one of the other big ones yet! Wait until later in the day or even evening to ride another one of the most popular coasters. The lines will be shorter, and it will be cooler out, so you won't be so hot in line.

An hour or 2 before the park closes (and it's fun to stay from the time they open until the time they close!) I like to ride some of the fun, but not so popular rides and coasters again. Usually the lines are much shorter b/c  a lot of people have gone home. Sometimes you can walk right on them and ride them over and over again :-)

Well have a great time! I hope this helps!

  2. May is better than June.  It's best to go before school lets out for the summer, there are less crowds.  We always go earlier (before schools let out) and later in the year (after school is back in session).  It's not as hot and humid during those times, so it's more pleasant weather-wise, too.

  3. OMG! I just went on Sunday and the lines were great. I rode the Wicked Twister 3 times in 8 minutes!  Also, the Millenium wait (for front row) was only like 30 min!  The Maverick (which is ALWAYS crowded) was an hour! soo fun.  I didn't get the chance to ride the Dragster because my friend didnt want to but I'm sure it wasn't too long.  I suggest going on a weekday, if you can, or a Sunday!

HAVE FUN!!! CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK SOON!

  4. All during May, late September, and October it won't be crowded.

When I went one August Sunday there weren't many people there. So I would say that Sunday is a pretty good day. I would think that most weekdays would be good too.

    Have fun!

EDIT: If you live close enough to just decide that you're going to go to Cedar Point one day, try to pick a cloudy ray with little chance of rain. It will bring the lines down a lot.

  5. Cedar Point says the least busy days are Tuesday and Thursday. The earlier the better. Also if you can try to choose a day where there is less than perfect weather predicted.
