The best time to go to Punta Cana/Bavaro and if you want it hot hot, is between 1/2 June and 1/2 September, you will have a average of 80 to 85 F and sometimes a little rain (10 to 15 min) and SUN again! Enjoy your stay!! happy to help you ! And make sure to discover the country!

Happy Feet has the good answer, from June to end September it is hot here. I prefer Puerto Plata because there is always a breeze from the Atlantic.

From December to March is the best time to go to DR and Punta Cana. It is always 28-30 C with sunshine and breeze. It rains rarely and if it does it is only for 10-20 minutes.
