  1. Go sometime in the middle, on a weekday.  The grounds are ALWAYS busy, but they tend to be the worst on the weekends.  Kid's day (or whatever it's called) is always the worst.  Lots of children running around, with parents chasing after.  Seniors day is usually slower.  It's better to be there in the evening, since the crowd is usually in the 18-25 range around that time, and it's a lot more fun.  It gets too hot during the day, anyway.

'course, if you have kids, it's probably better to get there in the early morning, and stay until mid-late afternoon.

  2. For what?  If you just want to hang out or go on rides it really does not matter, just pick a day with decent weather.  You might also base your decision on what band will be on the coke stage or Nashville North.  Or what rodeo events you want to see.

  3. Depends if you want to see the grandstand show or not. I think it starts at around 7 and a lot of people go... except me, I stay on the midway cause the lines get quieter until about midnight when the grandstand show is over.

Most of the other people are right, go on a weekday but NOT kids day, I tried once and it's HORRIBLE. Seniors day is nice but the concerts aren't as good...

It's yea, pretty expensive. Buy the wristbands beforehand (If you plan on going on rides) which is 42$.. And it's really easy to burn through tickets fast.

The rides don't open until 11, so don't make the same mistake I did of going at 9 am... haha

It can get BOILING during the day, if you are going to go through the day though make sure to check the weather reports and take into account that when all those people are around it gets MUCH hotter..

It's best to go in the evening as I said earlier, but if you want to go to the grandstand show I suggest going at around 1-2pm.. So you have some time to do rides and stuff.

Sorry I can't really specify anything, if I knew your age it would be much easier :)

    have fun xox

  4. Depends on what you want.  Seniors day is the lowest attendance day.    There are free concerts different days so that might make a difference.

Kids day is a day when the midway is quiet (relatively speaking).     I would look at their website and the schedule to see when you want to go.

  5. The best is to see the parade. After that you can see the grant stand ,it starts about 8 o'clock.Anything else is just  about emptying your wallet. It is very expensive. We calgarians stay at home or go to Calaway Park.
