When is the best time to mow your yard?

and how late is too late to mow your yard without ticking off your neighbors?

When the weather is hot, it's best to mow in the evening. It's less stressful to the grass.

Where I live it gets dark around 9pm this time of year. It takes about an hour to mow my lawn, so I usually begin between 7-7:30. Never had any complaints from the neighbors.

Late morning after the dew has evaporated from the grass, or early evening when it is cooling down.  I wouldn't mow past 8 PM myself....

I love mowing in the morning, Just to get it over with. Probably around 6 or 7 would be best to stop and do it another day. But it is really about when you have time or an oppertunity.

The best time is when the grass needs cut, to late is when the grass is to tall. Who cares about the neighbors everyone mows their lawn sometime! (during the day)

I try and mow my lawn about one hour before the sun sets 1st,it's cooler , 2nd the sun won't burn the grass.
