  1. always

  2. Another reason you may hear someone say that is that older houses may only have a certain "amp service" from the power company.  An Air Conditioner is a big energy hog when run, so if you have a limited "amp service" running it at the same time as your dryer (electric) and other items in your house, it may trip a breaker in the basement

  3. The only problem would be if you don't have enough power; you could overload the circuit. If that happened, It would just shut down the power in the house. In that case, you just turn the power back on, then just use the appliances one at a time.

  4. Running your dryer late in the day will help save energy, also your home will not be as hot as it would running it at noon.

  5. after u wash your clothes

  6. you can if you want to. The only reason that perhaps you shouldn't run it at the same time as the air conditioner is because it creates more hot air in the house that the air conditioner would need to cool down.

  7. Ideally you want to run the drier at the coolest outside temps, either early morning or evening when the outside air is at the coolest and lowest humdity, allows the drier to vent better which means the drier will be more efficient.  This has nothing to do with the AC.

  8. Im not quite sure why your drier would heat up your house. It should be vented to the outside.  If you have to be aware of what you are running together, you probably need to upgrade your electric panel.  I run both air and drier at the same time with no problem.

  9. At night, if you can stand the noise. Electricity is cheaper, and It'll generate some heat so you'll save on heating... but not by a massive amount.
