  1. I feel the best time to take vitamins is in the early morning or just before bed.


  2. Usually you take them multiple times a day.  So, take it when you eat.

    Also, consider buying capsule form vitamins, rather than the highly compact tablets (like centrum) since your body is not likely to absorb the nutrients in them.

  5. Multi you should take after breakfast or lunch. Calcuim if the dose is two a day take one after breakfast and one after lunch. I have just started taking slice of life multi gummies for adults. Try those you will never forget to take your vitamins again.

First, make sure you have a good, high quality vitamin.  Do not use Centrum, those "One a Day" things or something that you can get off the grocery shelf.  Go to a local health food store, this way, you have something that is natural and that your body can actually absorb and use!  Just get something that is free or anything artificial and is not synthetic.  A good rule to follow if you don't want to spend all day reading lables, look at the Vitamin E.  If it says from "dl-tocopherol", then its synthetic.  If it just calls it "tocopherol" then its natural.  Just think Downright Lousy and you'll have it!

    Second, if your just taking a multi vitamin, try to take it with a fuller meal, (something more than just juice and toast.)  Make sure you have some fat with that meal as it will help the fat soluable vitamins be absorbed easily.  Don't use a one a day, (even if its natural) as the pills are usually HUGE and wont entirely break down in your system.  Do at least a 2 or 3 a day.  You don't eat once a day (or at least you shouldn't,) and your multi should be the same.  That way you are getting a steady stream of nutrients!  Take separately, like with breakfast and lunch or breakfast and dinner.  Just something that you will remember easily!
