  1. Sorry I know it's not an answer to your question but a warning for you.

If you want to be in the sun at high noon you had better be prepared for bits to be cut out of you in a few years time.

  2. The sun is the most intense around 2 or 3 in the afternoon usually, be careful not to get burnt!

  3. High noon.

  4. Make sure you wear a head piece and have plenty of liquid if you plan to be in the sun.  I suppose simply by being out side the hot air will do the rest.  Otherwise, if you want to kill two birds with one shot by cutting the grass or etc. do wear some tan lotion.  Sun burns are pretty annoying. If you are lying down, I suggest you protect the eye are with some courgettes, cucumbers you know, any of that sorte. I personally have a round year tane.  Well good luck.

  5. You cant get sunburn before 10 am or after 5 pm. So the best time is before 10:30 and after 4:30. That way you wont sunburned and can still get a good tan.

  6. The sun is most intense between 11am-4pm in the summer! Happy tanning!

  7. If you want an all-over tan, and if you are planning on getting it standing up mowing a lawn, you will want to be out when the sun is at an angle so more than just your face and shoulders will get rays.  You will want to wear a hat if it matters if your face will be much darker than the rest of you.

  8. In the morning - before noon. That way you will also top up your vitamin D levels to make you much healthier. Stay in the sun 'til your skin is slightly pink and then cover up - that way you avoid skin damage and skin cancer
