My lillies are getting thick. Should I dig after they are finished blossoming or after they dry up?

  1. Wait until the dry up.  I do mine in the fall.

  2. Wait until they stop blooming.

When you dig our some of the bulbs and roots, store them in a paper bag and then next spring you can exchange them with another gardener.
