Its Summertime and everything seems more colorful.

If you plan go to Rio, think about:

Salvador - Bahia

Foz do Iguaçu - Parana

Angra dos Reis - Rio de Janeiro

Parati - Rio de Janeiro

Lençois Maranhenses - Maranhao

Natal - Rio Grande do Norte (Stop in Fernando de Noronha)

Florianopolis - Santa Catarina

Pantanal - Mato Grosso

Fortaleza and Recife..

Brazil have almost the same size of EUA. Take care to do comparisons. south is another world. I would try to avoid Rio and Sao Paulo.

Depends on what you want.

Summer is always fun and good... the best time if you want get the most of the Carioca (natives from Rio). There is Carnaval, the beaches are always full of beautiful people. This is the best atmosphere.

If you are looking for good weather, but don't like the crowd, come on September, October or November. Nice weather, less tourists, cheaper than during the summer.

If you come to Rio, don't forget to visit places like Buzios (2 hours drive) and Paraty (2 1/2 hour drive).
