  1. JUNE/JULY

You  woulld be better having your own transport  lots of parking mostly free

June is a good time to visit. With early summer come the longer days when you can watch the sun rise over the Rhinog mountains that form the majestic back drop to the area, or catch the sun going down over the Lleyn Peninsula setting the sea and sky alight with a dazzling array of colours.

Look out for the hill farmers gathering the sheep for shearing with their world famous Border Collie dogs. July is the time for village fetes and fairs in Snowdonia, the Llanbedr fete goes on all day and into the evening, an event not to be missed (12th July) With long warm days this is a good time to bring your tent or caravan and try one of our local sites. This part of the coast becomes busier in July as the traditional holiday season sets in, but here you can still escape the crowds if you want

  2. The best time to visit, for me, is in Spring. I would drive there. As for accommodation - try Bed and Breakfast. Ask at the local Tourist Info place when you get there.
