When is the best time to visit cape verde....?

I've just come from there actually. In Feb-March it's a bit windy and Aug, Sept,Oct is the rainy season, otherwise choose the time convenient to you.

One word of advice, learn a bit of Portuguese before you go, on some of the islands hardly any English is spoken.As my wife and I are Welsh, I didn't speak a word of English for two whole days, I'd done a bit of Portuguese  beforehand.

If you are island hopping, be prepared for  long waits in airports as connecting flights are few and far between sometimes.We had one 5 hour wait and one 7 hour wait.
